Mount of Apollo

The mount of Apollo speaks about how you use your gifts and talents.

A centered rising mount of Apollo can often indicated brilliance in the the field, an aptitude to apply innovative solutions to the challenges presented.  It is also a indicator that the person is probably recognized, or will be recognized as an innovator or leader in their field.

If a rising mount of Apollo is shifted towards the Mercury finger, it indicates an ability to map and manage the creative energies and parlay them into an effective career.

A rising mount shifted towards Saturn can indicate a close bond with animals.

A person with a rising mount of Apollo is generally a cheerful, outgoing person who enjoys engaging with others and sharing their talents.

A sunken mount of Apollo can be indicative of a person who does not appreciate art.  This could also be a person who feels learning is a chore and would not persue a subject for the joy of learning about it.

A normal mount of Apollo indicates one who appreciates art and learning, however they don’t revel in either discipline.

The mount of Apollo deals with how you relate to the material world.  It encapsulates how you bring your ideas into manifestations, and how you appreciate the creations of others.  It talks about how much a person loves for the sake of loving and does for the sake of doing.

However a very prominent mount of Apollo can be to much.  If it is really risen, it can indicate a person who acts outside of the social norm, an artist drawn to loud and explosive displays, or a person so creative it may cross into insanity.

There are also many health aspects that can be looked at with the mount of Apollo, but I will go into them another time.
